OFFICIAL PATCH FOR KASPERSKY ANTIVIRUS

November 9, 2011 Kaspersky Lab announced the release of Autopatch A for Kaspersky Security Center 9.0 (version 9.0.2786). The patch addresses the following issues: Fixed the issue with high CPU load by SQL Server process when processing the centralized Windows Update list. Fixed the issue with Network agent termination when Windows Update Agent returns incorrect data. Fixed Administration server error messages "Database error occurred: #1950 (1406) Generic db error: "1406, 'Data too long for column '__vtmp_strSign' at row 1" in Kaspersky Event Log. Fixed the issue with 100% CPU load by Network agent when updating the application version with active remote installation tasks inherited from Kaspersky Administration Kit ! 8.0. Fixed Network agent sporadic messages informing about errors in Kaspersky Event Log of the type “Application settings changed by administration server...” and related high CPU load by Network agent process. The patch is downloaded by starting the Download updates to the repository task in the Administration server tasks console tree node. Before running this task, we recommend reviewing the task settings. Open its properties, go to Settings > Other settings > Configure, and make sure the options Update Administration server modules and Update Network agent modules are enabled. Changes after installing Autopatch A for Kaspersky Security Center 9.0 (version 9.0.2786): application version number changes to 9.0.2800; version of the files klcsnagt.dll, klcssrv.dll, klcsagt.dll in Administration server installation folder changes to 9. 0.2800. version of the file klcsnagt.dll in Network agent installation folder (on Server and clients) changes to 9.0.2800. You can view the information about installed Kaspersky Security Center 9.0 patches by generating a Kaspersky Lab software version report report with the Updates installed detail filed enabled.
