There are plenty of simple photo editing web apps available online. For some basic things like increasing brightness, adding a text, etc., they are just fine but  for editing or removing the background of an image, you need to go for a professional editor. Applications like Photoshop, Gimp, etc., are not easy to learn quickly. So today I came with an application called Clipping Magic, which helps you to remove the background of an image easily like never before. It is a pretty intelligent application, where you can use any type of image and remove its background with just few clicks. You don’t need to learn anything, it is very simple to use and understand.

 

Before you start, sign up for the application using your email id. It will be helpful in reviewing the images you have uploaded. So after you finish the sign up procedure you can just drag and drop or choose the file from your computer. Once you upload the picture, you can see a help box on the right side of your window which will explain how to use this application. It is pretty simple, there will be a green and a red brush in the application. Select the areas you want to remove using the red brush and select the one in green which you want to keep. Though this application is in alpha stage, the algorithm will understand your selection marks and remove the background of the picture.

 

If you want to make a fine selection on your image, you can choose the brush size in the menu bar. Also, you have some more options like choosing a background color, rotate the pictures, zoom in, zoom out, etc. Clipping magic application is really handy and simple to clear the backgrounds. Instead of struggling with complex photo editors, you can use this simple app to create transparent images. I’ve used this app for editing different type of images, the one I edited is in the screenshot above.

If there is different type of colors in the background, you need to select carefully because the app is still in the alpha stage so it takes time to detect those colors. Also you can see the changes based on your Internet speed, so if you have a slow connection you have to wait for the changes to reflect. Today is April Fool’s Day – the day most of us have been waiting for all year to pull pranks on our friends!

If you have friends who are not very tech-savvy and do not know much about using their computer, then anything that convinces them that their computer is ‘broken’ or dysfunctional can cause them to instantly panic. This is why there are many ‘evil’ guides on the internet that help you in removing the icons from the desktop and replacing the wallpaper with an identical screenshot. This convinces your friend that there are icons on the desktop that are simply not click-able.

There are other easy-to-implement pranks that involve the usage of screensavers. You can replace the desktop with a similar screensaver to confuse a friend or you can setup a screensaver that gives the illusion of the LCD being cracked.

While all these pranks are going to confuse your friends, there is nothing like ‘Fly on Desktop’ to have fun with friends who are not tech-savvy and that have a problem with flies.

HOW TO CHANGE FORMAT OF DATE IN EXCEL

Question: I have a sheet with the dates displayed as DD/MM/YYYY. I have tried Format via Cells to MM/DD/YY, but it won't change. What can be done?

The problem is due to the fact that Excel is not detecting the data as date:

• Select the column containing the dates.
• Go to Data and choose Text to Column
• Choose delimited and click next
• Uncheck all delimiters and click next
• Click on date and choose right format for the dates (default DMY):

Latest version of Internet Explorer for Windows 7 : INTERNET EXPLORER 10 DOWNLOAD

The new web browser is available now for users running Windows 7, and it’s available in both 32-bit and 64-bit flavors. However, you must have Service Pack 1 installed before you can dig deep into Internet Explorer 10, but most Windows 7 users most likely have that taken care of already. The auto-update process will happen over the next few weeks.

Internet Explorer 10 features a handful of improvements, including better JavaScript performance and apparently improved battery life for laptop users. There’s also integrated spell checking and auto-correct functions, as well as support for more web standards like the new CSS3. Overall, a bump from version 9 to 10 should give the boost that users have been wanting.

Other than that, Internet Explorer 10 looks to be about the same design-wise as Internet Explorer 9. Of course, you don’t get the fancy Windows 8 version with full-screen browsing and a metro-style interface, but we can’t really see anything to complain about at this point. If you’re an avid IE user, you’ll certainly appreciate this update.

 

मोबाइल में हिंदी की-बोर्ड type in hindi in your Mobile

अगर आप अपने मोबाइल में हिंदी पढ़ तो लेते हैं पर लिख नहीं पाते तो निराश होने की बिलकुल ज़रूरत नहीं है.यदि आपके पास Andoid OS का कोई फ़ोन है तो बस पाँच मिनट में आप अपने फ़ोन में हिंदी की-बोर्ड बहुत आसानी से INSTALL कर सकते है.आप यहाँ क्रमबद्ध ढंग से बताये गए तरीके से ऐसा कर सकते हैं.

सबसे पहले आप PLAY STORE (android market)जाएँ और वहाँ MultiLing Keyboard को सर्च करें और चित्र न. (1) वाला एप्लीकेशन डाउनलोड करके INSTALL कर लें.इसके बाद इसे खोलने पर  मुख्य पेज या मेनू (चित्र न. 2) दिखाई देगा.यही आपको पूरी तरह गाइड करता है.इसके लिए अलग से फ़ोन की सेटिंग में जाने की ज़रूरत नहीं है.

अब हिंदी की-बोर्ड आपके मोबाइल पर पूरी तरह से INSTALL हो गया है.यह की-बोर्ड टच और टच ऐंड टाइप फोन्स में काम करता है.INSTALL करने के बाद NEW MESSAGE में जाकर आप चेक कर लें.टच ऐंड टाइप फ़ोन पर यह तभी दिखेगा जब आप नया सन्देश लिखने के लिए क्लिक करेंगे.


की-बोर्ड दिखने पर यह Space Bar पर English दिखायेगा.आप इसको स्वैप SWAP(बाएं से दायें या दायें से बाएं ) करें.आपको हिंदी की-बोर्ड दिखेगा.यदि कोई और भाषा दिखाता है  तो  चित्र न. (6) वाली स्थिति में जाकर चेक कर लें कि गलती से कोई और भाषा तो नहीं चुन ली है.


लिखने के कुछ टिप्स : 

की-बोर्ड में किसी बटन पर सॉफ्ट क्लिक करेंगे तो बोल्ड लिखा हुआ टाइप होगा.अगर लॉन्ग प्रेस करेंगे तो ऊपर छोटे रूप में लिखे हुए अक्षर टाइप होंगे.आधा अक्षर बनाने के लिए पहले वह अक्षर लिखें,जिसको आधा लिखना है,फ़िर 'अ' के साथ हलंत वाला बटन सॉफ्ट दबाएंगे.इसके अगला अक्षर लिखते ही पिछला वाला आधा दिखने लगेगा.
बाँईं ओर बने SHIFT बटन से अक्षरों के और विकल्प आते हैं.
क्ष,त्र,ज्ञ लिखने के लिए १,२,३ बटन को लॉन्ग प्रेस करेंगे तो नई विंडो खुलती है.दबाव बनाते हुए,बिना छोड़े DRAG करते हुए सम्बंधित अक्षर तक पहुँचे और वहीँ क्लिक करें.त्र को 'त' बटन के बाद आधा अक्षर वाला 'अ' को सॉफ्ट दबाकर 'र' बटन दबा दें तो भी लिख सकते हैं.

स्माइली आदि के लिए 'ओम् व  १ ' लिखा बटन  को दबाएँ और DRAG करते हुए इच्छित  स्माइली पर क्लिक करें.
कई शब्दों के पूरा लिखने से पहले ही ऊपर डिक्शनरी में विकल्प आ जाता है,वांछित पर क्लिक करके समय बचा सकते हैं.
