How to fix Corel Draw save fix (C.A.R.M) ARM Recovery Fix

Corel Draw is one of the most expensive pieces of junk I ever saw. I take that back ðŸ™‚ Considering that still X3 was decent compared to 11 and 12 and also that X5 is pretty good considering Corel’s history and also most important because I’ve seen much more expensive piles of junk since I wrote this.
Nevertheless I, and probably you too have to use and maintain it. I had the following problem on a fresh installation of Windows XP SP3: every time I wanted to export, save as or open a drawing Corel Draw X3 would crash regularly with it’s darned Crash Wizard.I tried applying the patches found on the Corel support page but it didn’t help. After some digging I found that it’s a problem related to theCommon Dialogue function found in comdlg32.
You must launch regedit (ALT+R or START->RUN and type regedit and press enter) and go to:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciescomdlg32]
and change NoFileMru from 0x00000001 to 0x00000000
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciesComDlg32]
"NoFileMru"=dword:00000000
If on your computer it’s already 0 it’s worth trying the other way around, just remember to set it back if it doesn’t help.
UPDATE: I encountered the very same problem with Corel Draw X4 (even after applying the Corel Service Pack for X4) with the ugly difference that the cause of the crash is not reported. Fortunately repeated crashes on open, save, save as and export made me remember this article and sure enough this was the cause.
UPDATE: Users are reporting the same problem of crashing with Corel X5 and Windows XP.
Am I the only one thinking Corel is getting crapier and crapier by the version? Well not really, updating this article now, after some time I feel that x4 is really an improvement over the x3.
UPDATE: Some users reported the same problem on other Windows versions. Also X5 had the same issues.

=============================================================================
i will show you how to fix coreldraw save, save as ,open and import problem
When you try save coral a.r.m wil run and you cant save your work
this is fix
1.run regedit (start-run-type regedit)
2.go to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\comdlg32]
3.and change NoFileMru from 0×00000001 to 0×00000000

Windows 10 Setting All in one place God Mod hack & trick

God Mode (for the naming fun) is a hidden Windows feature which is very much like the Control Panel, but more advanced.  God Mode exposes nearly every setting available in Windows 10 and hence makes locating and tweaking certain options easier. However, no matter how good it sounds, it still misses out on the settings which are only available via the Settings app. If you are interested in checking out God Mode on your Windows 10 PC, here’s how to get it activated.

Accessing the All Settings mode or God Mode

To access the list of settings or the God Mode you just need to create a folder with a special name (or extension) which will convert it into the gateway to the God Mode instead of being a regular folder.
  1. Right click on your desktop and select New> Folder. You can do this in any other location, but Desktop seems like the most appropriate place for such an option.
  2. Name the folder as following  (Copying and pasting works best):
    GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
  3. Hit Enter to finish.
You’ll notice a new option on your desktop called ‘God Mode’. Double clicking it will take you to the world of nearly every setting or configuration option available on Windows.

This works fine on Windows 8.1 as well as Windows 10 and you can use just any name for the folder as long as you keep the code after the name and it will still launch up the same. We are using God Mode because it sounds more catchy and because the feature is being known as God Mode.

How To Remove Installed Applications From Windows 8

When you freshly install an operating system, there will be some of the basic applications available by default. Especially in Windows, all the basic stuffs like Notepad, Wordpad, Paint, etc., will be installed automatically. Windows 8 has moved a step forward and comes with plenty of Microsoft applications by default. This might be helpful at sometimes, but many users find these apps are unwanted in their PC. The problem in Windows is, it doesn’t have an option to uninstall the default apps, but we have many third party applications available to do that. Today, I’ve come with one such application called “Windows 8 App Remover”, exclusively for Windows 8 users. Here’s how it  works.
Windows 8 App Remover is a free application for PC, which also works with the new Windows 8.1 update. You can download the app using the link at the end of this post. After you install the app, you will see a screen as shown in the screenshot below. In Windows 8, there will be default apps like Bing Sports, Weather, Zune Music, Video, etc. All the junk apps on your PC will be listed on the home page of the application. You can select them all or choose the one you need and remove all the apps at the same time.

To start removing the apps, first you have to choose the versions of Windows in the top left corner. The apps available on your PC will be highlighted and other apps will look gray. The app also has an option to uninstall apps by mounting .wim (Windows Imaging Format) files from your PC. All the apps you uninstall using app remover cannot be restored. If you want the app again, you have to download and install that particular application manually.
This is a must have application for all the Windows 8 users to free up some space and it gives a clutter free interface. Try this new app on your Windows machine and share your experience with us in the comments. Thanks for reading, do share this post with your friends.
